We don’t have a lot of detailed information about handphone Redmi, but the leaked Mi 10 Pro variant has emerged online, along with different specifications and names. Call it Commemorative Edition, Supreme Edition, Pro Plus or just Ultra – following Samsung.
At least of these names can actually be used. Some for China and others for the global market.
Reported GSM ArenaThe new leak offers a detailed image, showing exactly what the transparent back phone looks like, alongside a white one. We’re not sure if the back is completely transparent and includes some extra stickers and special writing on the inside, or whether it’s a sticker, under the surface of the glass, mimicking the effect.
–After all, this is the best display we’ve had on the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro special edition to date. Apart from that, the image is also accompanied by a live photo of the retail box. Also features the same rendering pair at the top, amplifying this leak.
This new detailed image also clearly shows that Xiaomi has indeed swapped the standard telephoto camera on the Mi 10 Pro for a dedicated periscope camera, which will be marketed as zoom 120x. An interesting move, now that Samsung has officially decided to backtrack on marketing “Space Zoom” for the new Note20 Ultra, “downgrading” from 100x to 50x which makes more sense.
Looking at the picture in more detail, it seems that Xiaomi has considered the settings quad-camera The Mi 10 Pro special edition is capable of shooting anywhere from 12mm to 120mm. In case you are wondering what the inscription “ASPH” means – this is just a general term for an aspherical lens element. These lenses tend to be more sophisticated, smaller and more efficient than simple lenses at combating various types of aberrations and providing superior sharpness with fewer optical elements, at a smaller volume.
–Apart from the camera setup, we also have a little more info about the Mi 10 Ultra or the special edition, obtained through a combination of leaks and teasers. The phone is expected to adopt the Snapdragon 865+ chipset, with an adjustable GPU, an improved steam room cooler design, UFS 3.1 storage, and LPDDR5 RAM.
