Unusual Sighting of Giant Frog in Bogotá’s TransMilenio Station Goes Viral

In the public transport system of Bogotá, every day you can see different images that attract the attention of users. Recently, a video in which an animal is seen on one of the bridges of the TransMilenio stations became a trend on social networks.

Although in general, the videos that are made inside the buses of these systems are usually of negative things such as fights, robberies, among others; This time it was different, as many citizens were surprised by what, apparently, was the sighting of an amphibian.

The events recorded took place at the ‘Guatoque-Veraguas’ station, which is located in the center-west sector of the city, more specifically on Avenida de los Comuneros with Carrera 27. In this station there is a bridge that is located right in the middle. It was there that the appearance of a rather strange frog could be seen.

In the videos recorded by users, it can be seen that it was a rather large animal that had the shape of a frog. The people who happened to be on the site were quite surprised and crowded to the ends to see it.

On both sides of the Transmilenio station, users gazed fascinated at this enormous animal. The video, which quickly went viral, gave rise to comments of all kinds, mostly humorous.

“A frog surrounded by toads.” “What fault we rolls have for never seeing frogs.” “It looks like a Pokémon” are some of the funny comments on the video that has more than 43,000 likes.

In another case, some young people became popular on the internet, after they were recorded while they were painting drawings inside a Transmilenio bus.

In the video that went viral, you can see how the young people use their clothes and even their hands to erase the graffiti, while the person who recorded them rebuked them for their actions.

It is important to note that those who damage any public or official transport vehicle “will be imprisoned for four to eight years and a fine of thirteen point thirty-three (13.33) to seventy-five (75) current legal monthly minimum wages,” according to what is contemplated by law.
