The photo also includes:in. large plumes of hot gas that extend about 700 light-years above and below the galactic plane.
As reported by nasa.gov“The photos show that the magnetic threads tend to appear at the outer boundaries of large streaks of hot gas.” This is intended to mean that the gas accumulated in the plume “drives magnetic fields, which form threads when they collide with each other.”

“What we see in the photo is a violent or energetic ecosystem at the center of our galaxy,” he explained, quoted by theguardian.com, astronomer Daniel Wang of the University of Massachusetts Amherst, who has been working on the photo for the past year. Wang added that the photo shows “many remnants of supernovae, black holes and neutron stars.” The center of the Milky Way is 26,000 light-years from Earth.
