There was a tram accident with a pedestrian on Sunday around 2:20 p.m. at the Stadttheater stop.
Here an unknown pedestrian ran directly in front of the tram approaching from the direction of the train station. The tram driver was able to initiate emergency braking, but there was still a collision. The passer-by was probably not injured, or at least not too badly, because he immediately left on foot.
The tram driver, however, was no longer able to continue his journey due to the shocking incident and was relieved. No passengers were injured in the tram. There was no property damage.
The pedestrian or possible witnesses who can provide relevant information about the pedestrian or what is happening are asked to report to the Freiburg traffic police at 0761 / 882-3100.
