According to “globalpetrolprices.com”, Venezuelans and Iranians pay the least for petrol: 0.035 and 0.052 euros per liter, while Hong Kong motorists have to spend the most – 2.247 euros per liter.
Hong Kong is followed by the Netherlands (1,891) and the Scandinavian countries: Norway (1.885), Sweden (1.753) and Finland (1.751). Denmark (1,810) is in the middle of them, and Germany (1,648) is not far behind.
The Baltic countries also boasted at the top of the list: Estonia (1,526), Latvia (1,429) and Lithuania (1,376), but Bulgarians pay the least among the EU countries – 1,163 euros per liter.
Despite fuel supply disruptions, the UK currently has to pay € 1,636 per liter, which is even slightly less than in Germany.
In Ukraine, petrol costs 0.989 euros, in Belarus 0.732, in Russia – 0.604, while Americans now spend 0.827 euros per liter.
