Unpacked 2021: Images of all Samsung Galaxy devices

The well-known smartphone leaker Evan Blass has shared numerous official marketing images via Twitter of all Samsung Galaxy products expected during the Unpacked 2021 event next month. It’s about the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, from Galaxy Z Flip 3, from Galaxy S21 FE, from Galaxy Watch 4, de Galaxy Watch 4 Classic and the Galaxy Buds 2. All devices are shown in all possible color variants.

Although the images do not actually reveal anything new – a lot has already become known about the new Samsung Galaxy devices in the recent period – it is a particularly striking move by Evan Blass @evleaks.

Last week, it was revealed that Samsung is going after leakers, who are distributing copyright-protected images and videos of unannounced products online—exactly the kind of material Blass is now publishing. Shortly after the news became known, the first YouTube videos were already unapproachable. With the mention; this video is no longer available due to a Samsung copyright claim.

Evan Blass interfered Twitter in the discussion and at first seemed to agree waiting want to set up. Another well-known tech leaker Roland Quandt reported on the German WinFuture that Evan Blass even felt compelled to delete some recent tweets about Samsung products, which seemed to indicate that Blass has succumbed to Samsung’s wishes. After three nights of sleep, he has clearly reconsidered this decision.

It will undoubtedly feel at Samsung as if a bomb has gone off. So much official footage out on the streets with a month to go before the official release will take place.

The leak of information about unannounced smartphones has been going on for some time on the internet. Especially with popular brands such as Samsung and Apple. However, the information is becoming known earlier and earlier. Where the first official images used to appear online a week before the official introduction, it is now several months.

The question now is how much influence Samsung has on the social media platform Twitter. With YouTube it is relatively easy to submit a claim, after which the video is immediately taken offline. With Twitter it’s probably a bit different.

The news from Samsung does not stand alone, however. Last month it was announced that Apple has deployed lawyers worldwide to go after tech influencers, also to prevent the leak of unannounced products. One of the concentration creators that Apple has been sued is the Dutch graphic designer Concept Creator – with whom LetsGoDigital also regularly collaborates.

Time will tell whether the two tech manufacturers actually manage to prevent the leak of unannounced products. It is expected that the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2021 event will start on August 11, 2021 at 4:00 PM Dutch time.
