In an interview with green media, he declared that his “nature is still dark green”; he also said that if elected, he would maintain the “Xiao-British line” in national defense and foreign affairs. In an interview the day before, he even said that “Ke Wenzhe is a superstar,” but there is no need to pin history on one star. He is trying to cultivate Huang Guochang and Huang Shanshan into “another sun.” With these strange words, it may be difficult for Ke Wenzhe to reverse the decline.

According to multiple polls, “Ke Yingpei” has recently fallen behind the second-placed “Hou Kangpei” in support by more than ten percentage points. He obviously wants to work hard to recover. But the method he adopted was quite strange, and he did not hesitate to sacrifice the core values ​​of the People’s Party. Ten days ago, Ke Wenzhe betrayed the expectations of 60% of voters who wanted to “take off the DPP” and blatantly tore up the opportunity for “Blue and White”; now, he has begun to emphasize his “dark green” nature and declares that he will follow the “small British Route”. So, is it necessary to remove the “white” logo of the People’s Party?

This approach not only shows the duplicity of Ke Wenzhe’s arbitrary “change of color”, but also makes the young people who loyally follow him feel very shattered and confused about whether he is “white” or “green”. Lvying laughed mercilessly. Since Ke Wenzhe is so sure of the “Xiaoying route”, then everyone can just choose the genuine product of “Lai Xiaopei”. Why choose a “fake” or “chameleon”? It can be seen from this that Ke Wenzhe’s gestures of goodwill towards the green industry, whether sincere or not, are humiliating himself.

It is undeniable that Ke Wenzhe has his unique personal charm and is a rare type in the blue and green camps. He is quick-thinking, eloquent, non-vegetarian, and rambling, which deeply attracts young people. However, in this election, Ke Wenzhe has constantly exposed his “weakness”, speaking and acting inconsistently; if we look deeply into his core values, he is wandering and unable to find a consistent belief. His polls have plummeted precisely because he signed the six “Blue and White” consensus but failed to abide by it, causing the center of voters to continue to disappear. Now, facing the only remaining die-hard young “Ke fans”, he responded with a “dark green confession”. How should he teach these young people who have always believed in “White Abei” to swallow it?

From a strategic point of view, Ko Wenzhe’s confession at this moment that “he is still dark green in nature” may have two intentions: first, he hopes to retain those pro-green voters who originally supported him and were dissatisfied with the DPP; second, he hopes to show his support to the DPP. Showing goodwill, hoping to use the role of a “key third party” to reserve space for cooperation with the Green Camp in the future. But no matter what it is, his plans are difficult to achieve. The reason is that his style of turning white and then green is destroying his party’s brand name and political identity, and cannot increase his appeal. In addition, by wandering back and forth between “blue” and “green”, he is actually trampling on his political personality and integrity. Even if it can use its status as a “third party” to gain traction after the election, it will be difficult to escape the name of “opportunism” and will eventually disappoint voters who believe in “white ideals.”

What is even more puzzling is that even at this moment, Ke Wenzhe actually calls himself a “superstar” and hints that he is cultivating another sun. It doesn’t matter how confident a person who is committed to politics and reform is, but a “self-centered” and “self-obsessed” person like Ke Wenzhe is a bit scary. If a person who thinks he is omnipotent but has no humility leads the country, won’t it lead to a catastrophe?

Just like the recently opened Taipei Arena, which was very popular, it was stuck in the hands of Ko Wenzhe for six years and in the hands of the Democratic Progressive Party for nearly two years. Ko Wenzhe argued that he was helping the Kuomintang “clean up the aftermath” of the safety of the Arena; but would it take six years just to ensure safety? Ko Wenzhe’s procrastination during the Blue-White negotiations, did he really take voters’ expectations for party rotation to heart? Does he care about people’s waiting and his own goals?

At the last moment of the election campaign, Ko Wenzhe made a “dark green confession”. Was he trying to clarify his “not white” injustice, or was he trying to prove his “white skin and green bones”? It’s a puzzling political confession. What is even more curious is how will those young people who have followed “Abei” feel?
