REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR) has again been abandoned by its director. Towards the end of October 2023, President Director Unilever Indonesia Ira Novianti resigned for personal reasons.
Quoted from disclosure information on the Indonesian Stock Exchange, Unilever’s letter dated October 24 2023 stated that the two directors who resigned were Shiv Sahgal and Sandeep Kohli. Both resigned for personal reasons.
“The resignation will be effective from the time it is approved by the General Meeting of Shareholders on 19 December 2023,” reads an excerpt from the letter signed by Unilever Director and Secretary Nurdiana Darus.
Regarding the resignation of the two Sahgal and Kohli, Unilever stated that there was no significant impact on the company’s operational activities, law, financial condition or business continuity.
