Uni Ferrol, a ‘monster’ that aspires to finish the regular League without defeats

Maristas faces a highly difficult match tomorrow, as they are visited by what is undoubtedly the best team in Group A. And one of the highlights of Liga Femenina 2.

In the twenty-year history of the competition, never has a team managed to complete the regular league without releasing its record of losses. Uni Ferrol can do it, as they remain undefeated after 23 games. But, in the other groups, both Leganés and Barça CBS are also in a position to achieve this historical record.

So far, those who have come closest have been Rivas, who conceded a single defeat in the 2004/2005 season, and Tenerife, with another game lost on 02/01.

In addition to the clash against Maristas (currently eleventh), Uni Ferrol has yet to face Celta (third) and Rosalía (fourteenth and last) in the three days remaining for the conclusion of the regular phase.
