More than 100 coaches submitted his CV to Chompley in the second degree to succeed Bruno Luzi, who announced his sudden departure from the team’s training.
After ending the season in France, Lozy announced that he had left the club after finishing the season in tenth place.
Since May 1, the club has received more than 100 CVs for coaches to train the team, according to the French newspaper L’Equipe.
Among the most prominent people interested in training the club, Oswald Tancott, Marco Simeone, Patrice Garande, and Fabrizio Ravenelli.
Luzi’s departure comes after he trained the team for 19 years, if he has led the team technically since 2001 and has previously played 12 seasons at the club as a player, meaning he spent 31 years on the team’s ranks.
“It is the right moment for the club to find another person,” Luzi said upon his departure on May 1, “I went up with the team to the second degree and finished the tenth season. It was possible to provide the best, but it could have been worse.”
Bruno is the brother of club president Fulveau, who expressed his surprise at his departure, saying: “If he wants to leave, let him leave. I will not stop him. I am not the one who forced him to do so.”
The report added that the team players are adhering to the return of their former coach, as they visited the coach at his home to persuade him to abandon his decision and stay in the team’s training.
Luzi said he might consider returning again, “I will need to think, and I will take my time. There is nothing difficult at all, I need two good weeks.”
Luzi witnessed 12 qualification for the team, as he led him from the lower levels to the national, then this season for the first time for the second degree.
