According to comprehensive foreign media reports, Froilanis Maireth Rivas Román, a 34-year-old Venezuelan woman, traveled to Colombia with her family. On Tuesday (14th), her family went for a walk on the beach in La Boquia. At that time, there were other tourists walking near the beach. Unexpectedly, a bolt of lightning suddenly struck Froilanis, causing her to turn into a fireball and fall to the ground.

Other tourists were so frightened that they squatted down immediately. Although lifeguards and others immediately came to rescue him, Froilanis died of cardiac arrest before the ambulance arrived.
