The reservoirs below Žlutý kopec between Tvrdého and Tomešová streets come from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. They were created according to the project of the English builder Tomas Docwry. Two of the three buildings are made of red fired bricks without the use of steel, wood or reinforced concrete.

The three buildings originally had a volume of 20,000 cubic meters and stored water from the treatment plant in Pisárky. They have not been in operation since 1997 and have been unused since then. Last year, the Ministry of Culture declared the waterworks complex a cultural monument.
