Uncomfortable Weather in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland: Possible Showers and Frost

Offenbach (dpa/lrs) – The weather in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland is becoming more uncomfortable. Isolated showers are possible on Saturday, the maximum temperatures are between 12 degrees in the Eifel and 18 degrees in the Upper Rhine, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced on Saturday in Offenbach. There may be frost near the ground in some areas on Sunday night.

According to the information, it will be partly cloudy on Sunday, and isolated showers cannot be ruled out. The maximum temperatures are between 10 and 14 degrees and at high altitudes between 7 and 10 degrees. On Monday night the temperatures drop to minus 1 degree, and in the mountains to minus 3 degrees.

According to the DWD, the new week will start with varying clouds, but no precipitation, after local fog fields have cleared up. The maximum temperatures are between 9 and 13 degrees.
