Unannounced Intel Core i5-13500H and Core i7-13700H Specs Released – Computing – News

Specs of two unreleased Raptor Lake-H laptop processors have appeared on Geekbench. Core i5 and i7 processors have 16 and 20 threads, respectively, just like their predecessors in the Alder Lake series. CPUs are still expected this year.

Specifications of the two laptop CPUs were posted on Twitter door hardware leaker momomo_us, noted Tom’s Hardware. The Core i5-13500H has twelve cores and sixteen threads. This means that the Core i5 model should have four P-cores and eight E-cores. The i7 variant has fourteen cores and twenty threads, which equates to six P-cores and eight E-cores. CPUs were tested with an integrated Xe GPU and 32GB of memory.

The core numbers shown are the same as the current Core i5-12500H and Core i7-12700H. Intel has doubled the amount of E-cores in its Raptor Lake desktop CPUs, including the Core i5 and i7 models, but that doesn’t appear to be the case with these next-generation laptop models.

The CPUs should benefit from Intel’s other improvements to Raptor Lake. For example, Intel has increased the amount of L2 and L3 cache with its new generation of processors. The P and E cores have also been improved and clocked higher, and an improved Intel 7 process should also provide better performance per watt.

It is not yet known when exactly the Raptor Lake laptop processors will appear. However, that has yet to happen this year; Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger previously confirmed that these CPUs by the end of 2022.
