UN chief António Guterres (73) does not want to bring a horse he was given from Mongolia to New York. “I don’t think we’ll be seeing the Secretary-General riding his horse into a roundabout anytime soon,” spokesman Stephane Dujarric said on Thursday. The horse, named Hope, which was presented to Guterres by President Uchnaagiin Chürelsuch during a visit to the Asian country, remains in the care of Mongolian experts.

He is not aware of any plans by the Portuguese Guterres to bring Hope to the executive floor of the UN headquarters on the East River in Manhattan or even to the gardens of the United Nations.
