The Ukrainian defense concern has signed three agreements with American companies on joint projects.
Ukroboronprom has reached a number of cooperation agreements with American companies and signed three agreements totaling $ 2.5 billion. informs the press service of the concern on Wednesday, September 1.
In particular, negotiations were held with the management of the Lockheed Martin Corporation.
“The result was a decision on cooperation in the field of the military-industrial complex. We are talking about the development of joint projects and programs, the organization of research and development. The parties also agreed on interaction in the field of compliance – this is important for maintaining a high level of transparency in further cooperation,” in the message.
Also, Ukroboronprom will cooperate with Harris Global Communications Inc., a member of the L3Harris Technologies group of companies – one of the world leaders in defense technologies.
The agreement reached provides for the implementation of joint projects, in particular for the supply of products to Ukraine, including its further integration into air, land and sea systems.
In addition, agreements were signed with the supplier of defense products Global Ordnance and the international company Day & Zimmermann Lone Star Llc. In particular, on the development of projects for the modernization and creation of new production facilities with the attraction of foreign capital for the enterprises of Ukroboronprom.
“The agreements reached and the signed agreements bring cooperation between the countries in the defense industry to a new stage, and confirm the interest of American partners in cooperation with the Ukrainian defense industry,” said the head of the concern, Yuriy Gusev.
We will remind, during the visit of President Volodymyr Zelensky to the United States, a number of agreements were signed. Other agreements between the countries will be announced today at Zelensky’s meeting with President Joe Biden.
