Ukrainians Forced to Return Pensions, Subsidies, and Social Benefits to State due to Financial Hiding

Some Ukrainians are forced to return their pensions, subsidies and other social benefits to the state. This applies only to those who hid their financial situation before the Pension Fund. Such citizens will now not only have to return part of the payments, but also compensate for several thousand hryvnia court fees.

The law on verification in Ukraine has been in force for several years, and a special department has been created in the Ministry of Finance that controls accruals to citizens. Before starting to pay money to Ukrainians from the budget, they are checked for income and well-being. However, many Ukrainians manage to fool the social security authorities and pass the initial check. However, when a secondary check begins and it is discovered that the funds were paid to someone by mistake, a letter is sent to the citizen demanding a return of the money.

There are hundreds of such claims in the courts, and the lion’s share of violators refuses to return the money. After a court decision, you can connect the executive service, arrest the bank account, car and other property of the offender. In most cases, such cases are unleashed in favor of the state, and if the violation occurred through the fault of the recipient of assistance, he will be obliged to return the money to the treasury.

Citizens may be asked to return illegally accrued subsidies, social pensions, disability pensions, etc. Most often, Ukrainians “forget” to indicate the full composition of the family in the declarations, do not indicate large purchases, “forget” about the inheritance, etc.

Even if you do not declare all income, at a minimum do not apply for social assistance if you are not eligible for it. After all, sooner or later, hidden income will come out, and the money will have to be returned to the treasury, and in the meantime, people who really live below the poverty line can still wait for their payments.

Previously it was reported that teachers in Ukraine will be forced to return state aid of 6,500 hryvnias, which they were erroneously paid.
