Ukrainian President Proposes Extension of Martial Law for 90 Days

At the moment, there are no draft laws, so it is not known for how long the head of state proposed to extend martial law and mobilization.

According to the text of the bill, Zelensky proposed extending martial law in Ukraine for another 90 days from May 20.

“… It is proposed to extend the period of martial law in Ukraine from 05:30 on May 20, 2023 for a period of 90 days,” the document says.

Recall that Ukraine introduced martial law on the morning of February 24, 2022 after the start of a full-scale invasion by Russia. At the moment, martial law in Ukraine is valid until May 20.
