Ukrainian Deputy Defense Minister Maryar said Ukrainian forces had advanced southeast of Lobotine, which was recaptured earlier this month in the southern Zaporizhia region. He also said through a television broadcast that Russia had recaptured about 1 square kilometer of the eastern city of Bakhmut, an important city occupied by Russia.
Russian capital Moscow mayor Sobyanin said in a Telegram post that air defense systems shot down a military drone near the city. There are no reports of injuries or damage.
