The countdown is on before the launch of the brand new season of Dance with the stars on TF1! Next Friday, February 16, many personalities will set foot on the floor of the famous dance show for the very first time with professionals. Their objective ? Convince the very demanding members of the jury and win the trophy.

While waiting to shine on stage, all these beautiful people gathered this Thursday evening at TF1 headquarters for an exceptional press conference. In a good-natured atmosphere (and after an unforgettable twerk by Camille Combal in front of an audience of journalists), the production of the show presented all the rules of the game and the new features of this season 13. Europe1.fr tells you everything!

An exceptional cast

TF1 is hitting hard this year with a five-star cast that will “make the platforms blush”, jokes Camille Combal this Thursday evening. The comedian Inès Reg, the host Cristina Cordula, the former Miss France Diane Leyre, Natasha St-Pier, the rapper Black M, the singing teacher of the Star AcademyAdeline Toniutti, the singer Coeur de pirate, Keiona (the winner of season 2 of Drag Race France), the influencer Nico Capone, the comedian Roman Doduik, the second-hand dealer Caroline Margeridon, and the cherry on the cake: James Denton, unforgettable Mike Delfino in Desperate Housewives. “We are happy because we have worked for a year and a half to get back to the fundamentals of VALLEY. First: stars and an intergenerational cast. And then, the dance. The level is very consistent this season. No one can guess who can win VALLEY“, assures Rémi Faure, director of streaming programs for the TF1 group.

Chris Marques, Fauve Hautot and Jean-Marc Généreux back among the judges, and a little news!

Chris Marques is over the moon! Member of the DALS jury since the launch of the show in 2011, he will reunite with his sidekick Jean-Marc Généreux (present from seasons 1 to 10), as well as Fauve Hautot (already a judge during seasons 6 to 8). “I bring my expertise to the stage. I know the stage so much that it will be interesting to give advice. I will be kind but harsh to help them progress,” assures the dancer with red hair. A new addition will be installed alongside him on the jury: Mel Charlot. A regular on Broadway stages, this dancer has collaborated with big stars like Beyoncé, Kanye West and Mariah Carey.

A great team of professional dancers

Here is the list of dancers who will accompany the personalities of VALLEY : Candice Pascal, Inès Vandamme, Adrien Caby, Yann-Alrick Mortreuil, Maxime Dereymez, Christophe Licata, Jordan Mouillerac, Christian Milette, Elsa Bois and Antony Colette.

No elimination on the first two bonuses

This year, no personality will be eliminated after the first two bonuses. “We want to give them the chance to go as far as possible,” assures Frederic Pedraza, deputy general director of TF1 production. But be careful, the star who gets the lowest rating will be put in danger at the next bonus!

A brighter decor

“There will be more light with a 360 decor. The judges will be behind a desk for greater proximity. And it’s also the return of signs,” says the production.

The red buzzer is over!

“We’re going back to basics: we’re removing the red buzzer that was given to Chris Marques,” announces the team VALLEY. For this season, group dances will be highlighted, as before the pre-Covid period.
