Happened in the middle of the day

Previous attacks in Russian border areas have occurred at night, but this attack took place in the middle of the day. Videos on social media showed flames and burning cars in what appeared to be the city center, writes the AP news agency.

Russia’s Ministry of Defense claims the munitions used in the attack were Czech-made Vampire rockets and Olkha cluster munitions. This is written by the news agency AP, which is unable to verify the claims.

Ukrainian authorities, which rarely claim responsibility for attacks in the neighboring country, have not commented on the claims.
