In the last 24 hours The Armed Forces of Ukraine hit three command posts, two areas of concentration of manpower, artillery and two ammunition depots of the Russian army.
This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in its evening announcement, quoted by “Ukrinform”.
According to the General Staff, in the last 24 hours the Ukrainian air force has carried out 11 strikes for areas of concentration of manpower, armament and military equipment of the enemy, as well as for locations of Russian air defense systems. Ukrainian forces also shot down an enemy Shahed-136 UAV.
“During the day, residential buildings and other civilian objects in the city of Korosten, Zhytomyr region and a number of settlements in the Zaporozhye region were damaged by enemy missile attacks and unmanned aerial vehicles. In addition, residential districts nand the city of Kurakhovo, Donetsk region, is under attack by the MLRS. The threat of enemy missile attacks on energy system sites and critical infrastructure across the territory of Ukraine remains,” the report said.
In the Volyn and Polis areas, the situation has not changed significantly. No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were found. The training of enemy units continues at the training grounds of Belarus.
The enemy continues in the direction of Slobozhanshchyna to keep his troops in the border areas of the Belgorod region. The invaders used tanks, mortars and barrel artillery in areas near Strelecha, Ternova, Staritsa, Vovchanski Khutori and Chuhunovka in Kharkiv Oblast.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy is on the defensive. The invaders used artillery shelling in the areas of Dvorichna, Kotlyarovka, Tabayevka and Berestovo settlements in the Kharkiv region and Novoselivske and Stelmakhovka in the Luhansk region.
In the Liman direction, the enemy uses tanks and artillery of various types in the area of Makeevka, Ploshanka and Nevske settlements in Luhansk oblast and Terin and Liman in Donetsk oblast.
In the Zaporozhye direction, the enemy attacked fire damage near Vremivka and Novopil in the Donetsk region and Dorozhnianka, Hulyapole and Zaliznychne in the Zaporozhye region.
In the Kherson direction, the enemy holds the defence. More than 10 settlements came under artillery shelling, including Osokorivka, Zolota Balka, Dudchani in the Kherson region and the outskirts of the city of Kherson.
According to Ukrainian data, the Armed Forces of Ukraine they liquidated some 92,740 Russian servicemen from 24 February to 7 December.
