► The Belgian balance sheet for the past 24 hours: On Monday May 4, 242 new cases were reported. 84 new hospitalizations were recorded. A total of 3,082 patients are currently hospitalized. 646 patients are in intensive care, a decrease of 9 patients. 12,441 patients were discharged from hospital and were declared cured since March 15, an increase of 63 in the past 24 hours. A total of 8,016 deaths have been reported, an increase of 97 deaths.

► The Flemish government has reached an agreement with the unions, mutual fund, call centers and a consultant to launch the “contact tracing” system, or tracing the contacts of people who are positive for Covid-19.

► Following the health crisis caused by the Covid-19, Actiris received fewer job offers. The Brussels public employment service said on Tuesday that it had only received 1,677 direct offers from companies in April.
