These estimates come from a survey conducted between June 25 and July 2 by the agency Experience12 from more than 3,000 “amateurs de culture popin the UK. Responses from MCM Comic Con online events. 80% of attendees are aged 18-34, 58% are men, and 38% are women. According to the statements obtained, 84% say they are interested in the PlayStation 5, compared to 15% for the Xbox Series X.
Other data noted, 37% plan to buy their new console at launch, 9% during the month of launch, 12% within three months, and 26% within six months of launch. Among the most anticipated productions, we find Cyberpunk 2077 (43%), followed by Marvel’s Avengers, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2, Dying Light 2, then Halo Infinite.
Regarding the current generation, the Playstation 4 remains the preferred platform at 59%, ahead of the Xbox One which collects 16% of the votes, the PC (14%) and the Switch (8%). Moreover, 12% of those questioned declared having bought Nintendo’s hybrid console during confinement.
