UFC 300: Holloway scores a crushing KO with one second left. Pereira defended

The jubilee numbered gala evening of the UFC was a great success. After Jiří Procházek, Max Holloway, who knocked out his rival Justin Gaethje in the last second of the fifth round, rejoiced at the victory after a great battle. Alex Pereira, who boxed Jamahal Hill, also defended his title.

The UFC 300 card delivered exactly what fans expected. In 13 matches, the fans saw four knockouts and another three submissions. The Czech fans were most interested in the match of Jiří Procházka, who, after a weak first round, came away with a dominant win.

In the main match, his only defeater in the UFC, Alex Pereira, faced Jamahal Hill, with whom Jiří Procházka was supposed to defend the title. It is the winner of this duel that the Czech samurai wants to challenge in the next duel, but the UFC management will have the final say.

In the match itself, it was really fast and the American didn’t get much. After three minutes, Pereira shut down the title challenger and finished him on the ground. He thus claimed another win in the UFC, defended the title and then said that he would like to fight for the belt in the heavyweight division as well.

The fight for the BMF belt between Max Holloway and Justin Gaethje promised a great battle. Both fighters took it to the right end and went at it for five rounds. The first-named was more active, going for the victory on points.

In the last seconds, however, an unprecedented finish came, which ended with a crushing knockout of Max Holloway in the last second of the entire match. It is being talked about as one of the best knockouts in UFC history. The Chinese fight for the title was also great, Zhang Weili crushed her opponent, but she survived the really overwhelming pressure and finally took the match to the points judges.

Charles Oliveira also fell after a very handsome battle and home star Bo Nickal was also happy with the victory. Very good finishes by Diego Lopes and Renato Moicano.
