Ubisoft Quebec’s General Manager announces her departure | Business | The sun

Lhe French multinational is in turmoil following allegations of misconduct and inappropriate behavior, which has resulted in several departures from its senior management.

Ms. Cossette indicated on her professional LinkedIn account that on Thursday she turned the page on 22 years at Ubisoft and began a new professional chapter “which remains to be written”.

She underlined the “luck” and “honor” of having collaborated in the early days of Ubisoft Montreal, then of having founded Ubisoft Quebec in 2005 alongside Nicolas Rioux.

“When I look at the last 15 years at the Quebec City studio, I am extremely proud of our journey,” writes Ms. Cossette.

“I don’t know what the future holds for me, but I know that the Ubisoft Quebec team is in good hands,” she adds.

Ubisoft appointed a new director for its Montreal studio earlier this month.

The company has decided to hand over the reins of its Montreal studio to Christophe Derennes, a longtime executive.

This decision came two days after the departure of Yannis Mallat, who had headed the Montreal studio since 2006 and headed Ubisoft’s operations in Canada.

In addition to the director of the Canadian studios, the crisis that shook the French multinational also swept away the creative director Serge Hascoët, as well as Cécile Cornet, the group’s human resources manager.
