Publisher Ubisoft has revealed unexpected news about the future of the shooter series The Division.
What is known
The French developers reported that the Massive Entertainment studio is preparing to develop the third part of The Division.
However, full production of the game will not begin until after the release of Star Wars Outlaws Action, which is currently being handled by Massive. The sci-fi action game is scheduled to release in 2024, but that date is probably too optimistic.
Division 3 development will be led by Star Wars Outlaws Game Director Julian Gerighty.
Ubisoft is not revealing any further details about the new shooter.
