UAE Equestrian Natalie Lancaster Advances to Final Stage of Dressage Competition at Asian Games

Hangzhou (China) September 27 / WAM / Natalie Lancaster, the UAE national team equestrian, qualified for the final stage of the individual dressage competition, in which 32 male and female jockeys participate, as part of the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou.
Lancaster succeeded in qualifying among the top 15 results to compete for the first three places and the colored medals, after achieving 64.882 points in 15th place, while her colleague and Bianca Sciozzo achieved 19th place with 63.118 points, and Mohammed Al Sarkal came in 26th place with 59.588 points, while Ali Al-Jahouri ranked. 27th place with 58,441 points.
The chess team duo, Wafiya Al-Maamari and Rawda Al-Sarkal, concluded their participation in the singles chess tournament by playing the eighth and ninth rounds, after the former tied in the eighth round with her Vietnamese counterpart, Phu Thi Kim, and lost in the ninth round to the Qatari Ghada Al-Khulaifi, while Rawda Al-Sarkal lost to the Filipino Vryna Janil and the Mongolian Betkhayag Monguntul. .
The Al Sheraa team ended its participation after the team’s duo, Adel Khaled and Doha Al Bishr, qualified for the “Top 10” race, where the former achieved tenth place in the Ka 7 competition, while the latter ranked ninth in the Ka 6 competition, while Muhammad Ibrahim took fourth place in the qualifying rounds in Elka competition 4.
In swimming, Mira Al Shehhi came in seventh place in the 100 meter butterfly with a time of 1:11.62.
In terms of confrontations tomorrow, the basketball team will play its second match in the group, where it will meet its Kazakh counterpart, seeking to achieve the first victory after losing to its Iranian counterpart in the opening match.
The cycling team opens its journey with Ahmed Al Mansouri in the aluminum race, which consists of 4 stages: speed, elimination, scratch, and points.
The golf team begins its journey in the “Asian Championships” with the participation of the trio Mohammed Sukayk, Ahmed Sukayk and Rashid Al Jasmi in the individual and team competitions.
The shooting team will continue its competitions with the participation of Abdullah Ibrahim and Ahmed Al Amiri in the 10-meter air pistol competition, and in boxing, Sultan Al-Nuaimi will meet his Pakistani counterpart, Rashid Zuhaib, in the round of 16 competitions in the 52 kg weight competition.
