▲ Expected movement path of Typhoon No. 7 ‘Ran’ Photo: Korea Meteorological Administration’s website As soon as the slow typhoon ‘Kanun’ that penetrated Korea goes, the tension is rising as Typhoon No. 7 ‘Ran’ approaches.

According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, ‘Ran’ is moving at a speed of 15 km per hour in the sea 250 km southeast of the Ogasawara Islands, about 1,000 km south of Tokyo on the day of the 10th.

The central air pressure of the typhoon is 975 hPa (hectopascal), and the maximum wind speed near the center is 30 m/s.

The maximum instantaneous wind speed is 45 m/s, and strong winds of 25 m/s or more are blowing in areas within a radius of 130 km from the center.

“Ran” is expected to move northwest for the time being and approach the Ogasawara Islands on the 12th, causing storms and high waves.

It is known that there is a possibility that Typhoon ‘Ran’ will hit Honshu, Japan directly, and Japan, which has suffered damage from heavy rain and strong winds from Typhoon No. 6, is very nervous.

Korea is also closely watching the movement path of Typhoon No.
