JAKARTA – The mouth holds many clues about a person’s overall health including high blood sugar levels . One of the most common symptoms of type 2 diabetes is dry mouth, or xerostomia.

Not everyone with diabetes will experience dry mouth and it can be caused by a number of other conditions. By learning to control blood sugar levels, a person can reduce their dry mouth symptoms.
