Two weeks after heart surgery, 99-year-old Prince Philip returns home – Relationships – Egoiste

The “Iron Duke”, as she is called by the British people, still has great health, so the Queen’s spouse will spend the next few months under the strict supervision of doctors, writes dailymail.co.uk.

The prince was photographed leaving the private hospital of King Edward VII in a black BMW car.

Buckingham Palace confirmed that the prince had been discharged from the hospital and returned to Windsor Castle, where he lived in isolation from the outside world with Elizabeth II during the pandemic.

It has already been reported that the Duke of Edinburgh underwent a surgical procedure on March 3 in Barth (it is not yet specified which one), which will now be followed by rehabilitation.

After the operation, he was transferred to King Edward VII’s hospital in London for further treatment.

The Duke of Edinburgh, who will turn 100 in June, was taken to hospital on 16 February as a precaution after feeling unwell.

Elizabeth II and Philip, 94, observed social distancing at Windsor Castle, as their respectable age means an increased risk of contracting Covid-19.

In January, they both received the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine, Buckingham Palace said.
