Two people arrested in Gijón for stealing 25 forklift batteries to sell them | BE Gijón | Today for Today Gijón

The Gijón National Police has detained two people who took over 25 forklift batteries from a warehouse in the Porceyo industrial estate. Those arrested used a van for flee with the stolen material to try to sell them a junkyard of Oviedo.

The Police have indicated that the two detainees are a 43-year-old neighbor of Mieres and another from Oviedo from 32, who acted at dawn while the company was closed. The agents of Group I of the Judicial Police of the Gijón Police Station after view the cameras of security they observed that the authors fled aboard a van with the stolen material.

Researchers are now working to recover batteries suspecting that they could be sold in a junk yard of Oviedo.
