They are 23 and 24 years old and are demanding the recovery of a debt when they show up at the Angloy house of their alleged debtor. It is not he who opens up to “creditors”, but his roommate. Facing the latter and in the absence of the target, the duo are handed the keys to the apartment, under threat. The housemate must leave the premises which both take possession of. “They will wait all day for the victim to come home from work,” says Bayonne deputy prosecutor Amandine Boyer.
Flogging
When the victim walks through the door of his house, the trap closes on him. Those who watched her fall on her beat her. They want money, their “due” in their opinion. The victim cannot pay.
