two DFCO supporters in custody after projectile throws during Le Havre – Dijon

This Saturday, October 2, two DFCO supporters were arrested by the police and then placed in custody after the Dijon match against Le Havre. They are suspected of having launched projectiles on the ground, including one that hit a Norman player.

On the sidelines of his trip to Le Havre for the 11th day of Ligue 2, the DFCO conceded its second defeat in a row (2-0). A match during which some Dijon supporters are guilty of throwing projectiles at opposing players. Following the second Norman goal, Pierre Gibaud was indeed hit in the chest by a plastic bottle. Two people are currently in police custody.

Le Havre supporters present in the stadium filmed the sequence. We see the HAC players celebrating the second goal of the game scored by Victor Lekhal from the penalty spot. The Norman defender Pierre Gibaud arrives by sliding on his knees before receiving on the chest a bottle of beer thrown from the visitor parking lot where the Dijon supporters were present.

Furious at the fans of the DFCO, the player who wore the colors of Sochaux from 2014 to 2018 was still able to resume the game.

A collective of Le Havre supporters posted the video in the tweet below.

The HAC player victim of the projectile throw has meanwhile split an ironic post on social networks. “We are going to work on the cushioning of the chest”, tweeted Pierre Gibaud, with a glass of beer emoji, referring to the bottle containing alcohol he received.
