The American company Jetblue will once again operate two daily frequencies between the cities of New York and Guayaquil.
Thus, it will start to operate a total of 14 flights a week directly between these two cities.
Jetblue had opened the New York – Guayaquil – New York route in December 2019, operating a single daily flight.
In August 2021, it increased to two flights a day on this direct route, but some time later it returned to operating only one daily flight.
Now, the airline will once again have two daily operations between New York and the considered Pacific’s pearloperating since April 7.
Jetblue operates between the John F. Kennedy and José Joaquín de Olmedo international airports with its Airbus A321neo aircraft.
Apart from the US airline, the airline of Colombian origin Avianca also connects Guayaquil and New York directly, through six operations a week.
In addition, this airline announced that it will directly connect Quito with New York.
