Two Catalan tourists died and three others were injured in one balloon accidentduring a tourist trip, al Cappadocia, Turkey. The device crashed to the ground during an emergency landing due to strong gusts of wind. There was on board 28 tourists and 2 crew membersaccording to the Turkish authorities.
Victims have had 62 and 63 years old and lived in Lloret de Mar. Three other people from the same tourist group of women were injured in the accident, one of them is in serious condition. The Municipality of Lloret has asked for psychological support for the families and has decreed 3 days of official mourning.

A gust of wind would be the cause
The balloon took off around 7:25 am local time runes of the Zelve, in the municipality of Avanos. Around 8.50 am, a gust of wind forced the balloon to make an emergency landing in the city of Kabajk, which resulted in the two dead and three injured, transferred to various hospitals in the region. The Spanish consul has moved to the area. Turkish authorities are investigating the events. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Meritxell Serret, is in contact with the local authorities and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
