Twitter has once again restarted its process to accept requests from the public for the account verification, the company announced this week. This latest reboot comes after Twitter temporary “pause” in verifications in early August to implement improvements to the application and review process. “If you plan to apply and still do not have access, keep checking your account settings” They explained from the social network. “Thank you for staying with us.”
In the last few months, Twitter has had trouble distributing blue badges. Since launching its last public verification system in May, the company has had to stop accepting new applications twice. The first suspension came just eight days after the company launched the new system. Shortly before verification was suspended in August, a fake account of Cormac McCarthy was briefly verified.
This has generated a lot of doubts about how Twitter elaborates the review process. However, the company appears to be working on making amends for its problems.
