TVP’s Rafał Patyra talks about the love story and the BAD child in the pages of the Catholic weekly

Rafa Patyra it is certainly well known to Polish television viewers. The reporter has been professionally associated with the station for years, where he could be seen in various sports programs and formats such as “Teleexpress”, “Family Express” or “Good morning Poland!”. It also works with the TVP presenter Radio Maria and Telewizja Trwam. Patyra doesn’t hide it every day he is a practicing Catholic and faith is extremely important to him – and gladly highlights it on social media. It turns out, however, that the reporter has not always lived according to traditional values ​​and commandments …

Lately Rafa Patyra gave an interview to the Catholic magazine “Dobry Tydzień”. In honest conversation, the reporter told about the marital crisis he and his wife faced years ago – and sadly it was his fault. TVP presenter because he was having an affair, which not only nearly ruined her marriage but also led to the birth of a baby boy.

Patyra, in an interview with the Catholic weekly, openly admitted who had cheated on his wife. The woman he did a side jump with instead she gave him a daughter. The journalist from Telewizja Polska did not hide that at that time he was quite lost and “he didn’t know which way to go”. As he recalled, many friends tried to advise him on his life turning point: some told him to stay with his family, while others were convinced that he should start a life with his lover. The aforementioned hesitations that Patyra called “pull the rope” lasted three years.

In the end, Patyra decided be with my wife – as he confessed, he could not imagine what he would have after the separation being cut off from receiving the sacraments. The reporter also entrusted his fate to God.

When I thought I was going to go to that woman and be cut off from the sacraments, it hurt me a lot. I was at the bottom mental and emotional. Until finally I shouted to God: “Take care of yourself, I can’t do it alone. Do with me what you want!” And God took matters into his own hands – he recalled in the magazine.

Patyra’s wife also wanted to save the marriage and made a decision fight for a relationship, despite the harm her husband has done. After meeting with the pastor, the woman told the reporter that she was convinced that “everything will turn out well”. One day she offered her husband a joint trip to Częstochowa. Patyra in an interview with “Dobre Tygodień” pointed this out it was thanks to faith that she managed to overcome the marital crisis.

In an interview, Patyra compared marriage to a trip to the Himalayas, even with Jesus. Patira and his wife lived together. four children. In an interview with “Dobre week”, the journalist also told a little about the fruit of the love story, to my daughter, who is already 13 today. The TVP star made no secret that her contact with illegitimate consolation was rather sporadic. As a teenager she confessed He is “under the influence” of his mother and grandmother, who are not very nice to him and a year and a half ago he told his father that she doesn’t want to see him. Patyra can only count on occasional phone calls.

I can only call you from time to time, for example on your birthday or your name day. For her these conversations are not a pleasure, but for me they leave me unsatisfied – he confessed.
