According to Peide for the publication “Privāta Dzīve”, she thought about her career as a director already after high school, but she matured for this step only last year, when she and her husband Jānis Peidi closed her concept store “Imagehouse” in Riga.

This summer, Peide passed the entrance examinations at the famous Russian actor and director Fyodor Bondarchuk Film School in Moscow, where his studies began in November.

The publication says that one academic year in an online course costs 5,100 euros, and it takes two years to get a diploma.

In parallel with his studies, Peide will study film directing at the Latvian Academy of Culture as a free listener.
