CRISTIANO Ronaldo help Manchster United qualify for the last 16 Champions League 2021-2022. He scored one goal in Manchester United’s 2-0 win over Villarreal in the fifth matchday of Group F of the 2021-2022 Champions League, Wednesday (11/24/2021) early morning WIB.
After the match, Cristiano Ronaldo uploaded a happy moment on his Instagram account, @cristiano. However, in the upload, Cristiano Ronaldo seemed to offend his former coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. He said the win over Villarreal put Manchester United in the right position, something Solskjaer was unable to do.
In fact, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made a big contribution to Manchester United’s qualification to the last 16 of the 2021-2022 Champions League. In four games handled by Solskjaer, Manchester United sit at the top of the standings with a collection of seven points.
Therefore, if they win over Villarreal on matchday five, Manchester United will qualify for the last 16. Unfortunately, Solskjaer failed to accompany the Manchester United squad to play the fifth match of the 2021-2022 Champions League because they were fired.
However, Manchester United’s interim coach, Michael Carrick, gave the Red Devils victory. Manchester United won 2-0 over Villarreal via goals from Cristiano Ronaldo on 78 minutes and Jadon Sancho (90′).
