Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace, which aired Monday night, is about the lives of the two after their step back into the British royal family. Many viewers thought the film was so bad that it was also funny. “Hilariously horrific,” one tweeted. “If I wasn’t laughing, I’d be crying. He’s that bad,” wrote another.
Other viewers were more positive. “Their struggles were well told and there was a very nice tribute to Princess Diana in it,” one person shared. “Fantastic, applause,” another tweeted.
It is the third film Lifetime has made about the life of the prince and his wife. Harry and Meghan: A Royal Romance was released in 2018, followed by Harry and Meghan: Becoming Royal in 2019.
