Russia’s election commission refused to register her as a candidate for the election on Saturday.

Now the electoral commission says that they found errors among 100 people who are in Duntsova’s support group, reports Medusa.
– Ekaterina Sergeevna, you are a young woman, you still have everything ahead of you. Every minus can always be turned into a plus, said the head of the electoral commission, Ella Pamfilova, to Duntsova.
According to Meduza, she said something similar to Alexei Navalny when he was refused a presidential candidate in December 2017. He is now in prison – and his followers do not know where he is.
Duntsova asked the Putin-critical party Jabloko to become their candidate after the rejection on Saturday, writes Meduza. But the founder of Jabloko, Grigorij Javlinskij, says on YouTube that it is not relevant and that “we don’t know her”.
Jekaterina Duntsova is a 40-year-old woman from the city of Rzhev, where she has been a member of the city council. According to her website, she stands for an end to the war in Ukraine, democratic reforms and the release of political prisoners.
After Duntsova announced her plan to run for president, she was summoned to the prosecutor’s office and the state-controlled bank blocked transfers in her name.
