Tutzing – An unusual case for the police occurs in Tutzing. During a traffic stop, a driver pulls into a parking space, gets out, and falls to the ground.

As the Starnberg Police Inspectorate explains, the case took place on Thursday evening around 20:00 in Tutzing. The officers wanted to stop a vehicle on the main road for a check. The driver, a 37-year-old man from Pöcking, purposely drove into a parking space, but then threw open the driver’s door and ran into Oskar-Schüler-Strasse. In the fire yard, he fell to the ground, gasped for air and began twitching in his arms and legs.

Pöcking’s drivers do not have a driving licence

Because of this seizure, officials called 911, who took the man to hospital for examination. According to a doctor, there should be no medical cause and no alcohol or other substances were found in the blood. For safety, however, the man was hospitalized for tests.

During further investigation, it was eventually discovered that he didn’t even have a driver’s license. It could not be conclusively determined whether the arousal triggered the seizure or was intended to serve as a distraction. (KB)
