Turtle Beach comes with flight controller for Xbox and PC – Gaming – News

It’s not clearly defined anywhere so at the moment it’s speculation on pictures, but the 4 thrust levers still have a small range below idle which is also marked. So possibly a reverse range or toggle.

Auto thrust/TOGA is done in different ways on different planes, so I don’t blame them for not having buttons on the thrust levers. This also ensures that they are easy to exchange for spoiler/power/rpm/mixture levers. You also have at least 10 assignable buttons to assign A/T or TOGA to.

That landing light ‘button’ looks like an annunciator, not a button. Just indicates that your landing lights are probably on. If you want to tie your lights, you obviously have 10 assignable buttons below the thrust levers.

In my opinion, your first reaction is rather negative without concrete information except for a marketing video and some pictures. At first glance, this is a pretty complete product, especially for consoles. Yes, pedals would be nice but the analog triggers can take over that function just fine and are old acquaintances for console players. This is also one of the few controllers where you don’t seem to have to fiddle with axis assignments or profiles between a prop or jet aircraft due to both a move thrust levers and traditional vernier TPM controls.
