The former head of the 44th National Assembly, Tsveta Karayancheva, will not be a member of the new parliament.
She was the leader of GERB in the district of Kardzhali. There, the MRF won 4 seats, and the fifth went to Slavi Trifonov’s party – “There are such people.”
In Kardzhali, GERB-UDF has 8374 votes, and “There is such a people” – 6389, but in the redistribution the fifth mandate goes to Slavi’s people.
Karayancheva does not appear in another GERB list.
She did not enter this election, but she will be elected in the other elections, GERB leader Boyko Borissov said at a briefing.
Tsveta Karayancheva was a member of parliament from the GERB parliamentary group in the 41st, 42nd, 43rd, 44th and 45th National Assembly. She was speaker of the 44th parliament.
