– Trump’s embarrassing circus continues

On Wednesday, President Donald Trump was expected to travel to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, with his faithful, personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani. It wrote, among other things CNN and Fox News.

In Gettysburg, there was a hearing by Republicans on election fraud allegations. Then came the news that Boris Epshteyn, an adviser to the Trump campaign, has tested positive for covid-19.

“I have mild symptoms and I follow all appropriate protocols, including quarantine and infection tracing,” he wrote on Twitter.

Epshteyn was present at Rudy Giuliani’s press conference at Republican National Headquarters last week.

Shortly afterwards, messages came from several White House correspondents that Trump’s trip to Gettysburg had been canceled. But that did not stop the president, who spoke over the phone to the Republicans who had turned up.

– The election was rigged

While one of Trump’s lawyers, Jenna Ellis, held up the phone to a microphone, he repeated the same allegations of electoral fraud that he has made in recent weeks.

“We must turn this election around,” Trump said.

This hearing will be the first of three similar events the Trump campaign has coordinated with Republican politicians in Pennsylvania, Arizona and Michigan, according to CNN. There is still no evidence of widespread electoral fraud in any of the states.

– This election was rigged, and we can not let it happen. We can not let that happen to our country. And this election must be reversed because we won Pennsylvania by a lot, and we won all these swing states by a lot, Trump told the assembly.

He also thanked everyone who had turned up, and thanked Giuliani for his efforts. He hailed his lawyer as the best mayor in New York’s history, but said that what Giuliani is doing now will “be the crowning achievement so far.”

– Does not change anything

On Tuesday, it was confirmed that Joe Biden has won the election in the state, despite the Trump camp’s extensive attempts to get the result rejected.

Trump’s telephone tirade is not well received by Pennsylvania State Attorney Josh Shapiro.

– The incumbent president’s statements today are not grounded in reality. The election is over. Pennsylvania has confirmed the result and declared Joe Biden the winner. Lying through a mobile phone at a fake hearing does not change anything, Shapiro writes Twitter.

Ahead of the hearing, Democratic leader Nancy Patton Mills made a scathing statement. With the title “Trump’s embarrassing circus continues in Gettysburg, this time with Harrisburg Republicans”, she reached out to what is being described as a “false” hearing.

– The 2020 election in Pennsylvania was the most transparent and safest in history, it says the statement.

She states that Biden won because citizens of the state voted for him rather than Trump.

– This embarrassing prank from Harrisburg Republicans is a disservice to the whole of Pennsylvania. This nonsense must end.

Giulianis comeback

President Donald Trump’s time in the White House is soon over, although he does not want to admit it himself. Joe Biden has been announced as the election winner and has been formally notified that the transition process from the Trump administration can begin.

Nevertheless, Trump maintains that he is the rightful winner of the election, despite the fact that this year’s presidential election has been described as the safest ever. A legal war in the form of lawsuits against tipping states was launched, without it leading to the Trump camp.

So did Rudy Giuliani, Trump’s personal lawyer, an unexpected comeback. For the first time in years, he would appear in a federal courtroom to prosecute. Giuliani resigned after two lawyers for the Trump re-election campaign withdrew from a lawsuit in Pennsylvania.

Giuliani appeared in court, but was granted Politico ridiculed for being ill-prepared and for not being familiar with the basic legal standards that applied in the case. He even forgot the judge’s name.

Giuliani was looking for millions of votes to be invalidated in the hope that Biden would lose the victory and 20 very important voters.

– It is expected that when applying for such a sensational outcome, a plaintiff will come formidably armed with good legal arguments and factual evidence of widespread corruption. That has not happened, Judge Matthew Brann said.

The lawsuit from the Trump campaign was rejected and on Tuesday, the election result, and thus Biden’s victory, was confirmed in the state.
