Ottawa – Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has dismissed proposals to use the military against the ongoing corona protests in the capital Ottawa. “That’s not up for debate at the moment,” Trudeau said Thursday. Governments would have to “be very, very careful before using the military in situations that are directed against Canadians.” The city’s police chief had previously brought a military operation against the demonstrators into play.
