Tropical temperatures will fall for the next two weeks, then cool slightly

In the next two weeks, temperatures in the Czech Republic may reach tropical thirties. Around mid-August, temperatures are likely to drop slightly. This follows from the monthly weather forecast published by the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute on Friday, and from the short-term forecast. Precipitation volumes are unlikely to deviate from long-term averages over the next four weeks.

In the next two weeks, from July 27 to August 9, according to meteorologists, temperatures will be slightly above average. For example, throughout the next week, temperatures in some places can rise to 30 degrees Celsius, and on some days even exceed the tropical thirties. For example, on Tuesday, the highest daily temperatures will be between 28 and 32 degrees, according to the institute’s forecast.

However, from about mid-August, the mercury drops by about a few degrees. “Weekly averages of the highest daily temperatures are expected to be around 27 degrees Celsius in the first two weeks (July 27 to August 9), around 24 degrees in the third and fourth weeks (August 10 to 23),” the institute said.
