They tried to illegally import 5.8 thousand cans of formulas for baby food into Belarus from Poland, reports State Customs Committee.
Thus, a DAF truck of a Lithuanian carrier with goods arrived on the territory of the EAEU through the Benyakoni checkpoint. Grodno customs officers noticed that the documents for imported products do not correspond to reality. Thus, there were 350 more cans of Nutrilon milk formulas, and over 5.5 thousand cans of Nulo milk formula did not go through the documents at all, although they were in the truck.
The total cost of products moved in violation of the law is more than 160 thousand rubles. And savings on payable customs payments would amount to 55 thousand rubles.
Grodno Regional Customs started an administrative process.
