triage sites set up by hospitals

To help hospitals that expect a massive influx at the end of the week, triage sites will be set up on Belgian territory.

This is a hospital emergency pre-service that will be installed in various locations, in coordination with the circles of general practitioners in the territory in which they are located.

The development and operation will be done jointly by all doctors (hospital and general medicine circle).

The idea is to anticipate this service which has proved necessary in Italy once hospitals are overloaded.

In a letter to its members, the College of General French-speaking Medicine of Belgium asks them to take stock of the state of their forces and to do their utmost so that the least possible number of people does not reach these sorting places, by favoring telephone support to the maximum.
